Rasara from Frantoio di Cornoleda


Jenny and I ran into this farm, and spent some time with Devis tasting his EVOOs while we were visiting our friends in the Veneto. When we tried their EVOOs, we fell in love – both with their enthusiasm at the farm and their processes, but most importantly with their Rasara extra virgin olive oils. We are now so pleased to bring this Rasara variety EVOO to you.


This single varietal – Rasara – has a golden/yellow intense color with green nuances. It has a clean and suggestive smell, with notes of newly mown grass, artichoke, chicory, balsamic, mint, rosemary and thyme aromas. The taste is harmonic, with black pepper, chicory and almond tones.


Slightly bitter and spicy, it is excellent on rice, pastas, salads, grilled vegetables, chickpeas and beans, baked fish and roasted white meat.


This Rasara EVOO is an official selection of the Leone d’Oro olive oil competition.


Harvest date: October 2018
