L’Azienda Agricola Giacomo Grassi is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico area of Tuscany. Giacomo Grassi, together with his parents and sister, restored previously abandoned olive groves in 1996 and since then, has been producing award-winning monocultivar olive oil. Like wine, the aromas and flavor of olive oil are influenced by the variety of the olive trees and the maturation of the fruit at the time of harvest.
Each harvest, Giacomo Grassi selects the best quality olives and mills them at very low temperatures to create an oil with complexity and intense aromas that reflect the variety of flora that coexists in their olive groves. Giacomo Grassi produces olive oils that are beautiful, distinctive expressions of their olive tree cultivars.
